The Manus Prime Xsens is a glove designed for integration into an Xsens motion capture suit, to complete the hand with finger data on their IMU suits.


Xsens is the leading innovator in 3D motion tracking technology and products. The Xsens suit, in combination with the Manus Prime Xsens enables seamless interaction in applications such as 3D character animation, motion analysis, and industrial control & stabilization.


Hardware designed for the user

The Prime Xsens is designed for maximum comfort and breathability. It contains twelve different sensors that measure hand orientation, thumb orientation and flexion of the knuckle and top joint of each finger. An Xsens module can be easily and securely mounted to the back of the hand.

Manus' goal was to not add any more complexity to the existing ecosystems than absolutely necessary. The result is a plug and play glove (using our API), that is easily put on, calibrated and used in any motion capture application.


MVN Compatibility
The Prime Xsens is compatible with the Xsens MVN system. Unmatched in ease-of-use, it has robust and reliable hardware and produces production-ready data. Xsens MVN is the ideal tool for professional animators. It is also compatible with MVN Analyze, a Full-body human measurement system based on inertial sensors, biomechanical models, and sensor fusion algorithms.


Compatible with HTC and more
The Manus VR Gloves can be used with any Steamvr Tracking compatible headset, such as the HTC Vive and the HTC Vive Pro.

Easy integration of the Manus VR Gloves is one of our top priorities. By using Apollo in combination with our plugins, seamless integration into Unity, Unreal Engine and MotionBuilder (coming soon) are made possible. Low effort for you means your team gets to spend more team on what truly matters. 



The Prime Series consists of three different products; the Prime One, the Prime Xsens and the Prime Haptic. The Prime One and the Prime Haptic being primarily used for virtual reality applications in Unity, Unreal Engine or partner platforms such as IC.IDO.
